Boston Ghost Tours

This was defiantly a different kind of ghost tour. We started off meeting the ghostly wife of the Quebec city executioner and hear her accounts of what actually happened back then

Friendly Ghosts we met along the way.
Point of reference to find the way home again

 Old Town of Quebec
I swore they had someone ready to jump out at us !

Where the cats and dogs come when it's raining
Many Murders, Executions and removal of body parts or torture

 Our Friendly Ghost

We were left to wander the streets on our own after our ghost disappeared.

Beautiful back alleys lit up at night

View of the Le Grand Hotel after dark

Look who i found trying to warm up

My Favorite photo
 Parliament Building Lit up
New Barracks of Quebec city - still actively used
This was one of the best fortresses I have visited. Looking in from the outside, If you have evaded all of the cannon and gun fire to make it this far. You still have this trench to get over, Once between these walls you will be faced with a series of cannons faced directly down into the trench. Good Luck.

The Grand Plan
Walking Entrance from within the safe walls of the city
Original Master Plan drawn by the engineer
New Barracks Design - Never Defeated

So, Once inside the ultra safe main walk in entrance. We were faced with a series of trenches to walk up. As the enemy, Thinking that you have just over run the main city, thinking that you could just walk in to this. Think again.

Surprise, 1 hidden cannon in your direction.

Now the Main Gates to the inner fortress within a fortress. If you mess up here, you will have 6 cannons now facing your direction. Theses cannons are strictly used for the inner trenches for defense.
The other 3 cannons in this open courtyard
Exterior Cannons - This big guy can throw a heavy ball over 5km away.

To give you an idea, There is a factory on the other side of this river. This is 2.5km away.
Pure Fire Power

 Inside barrack walls

The Clock. Moved up and down Manually using ropes and pulleys moving this ball. Everyone inside the walls and on the docks could see what time it was, so there was no excuse for missing the departing ships.

Munitions Building. Ceiling is vented to allow any explosions to travel upwards not outwards, destroying the barracks.

An example of what they had to fire at you from within the walls.

Prison On Site

Collection of Canadian/French Military battle groups and regiments.

Medal Displays

Not the best photo, But these are the most wanted battle awards.
